Meet the president of UPS- Isiaah Crawford

In the 129-years that the University of Puget Sound has been educating within Tacoma, last year it elected its first African American president. Fifty-five year old Isiaah Crawford was selected after a 9 month search that included candidates from around the world. He will be the schools 14th president, replacing former president Ronald R. Thomas. Born in the other Washington (D.C. that is) and following 8 years as senior academic administrator at Seattle University, Crawford is now a proud Logger. His inauguration will take place Friday, March 24, 2017 at the Memorial Fieldhouse.
